What to Expect
Newcastle United will make this physical and uncomfortable. With Ramsey suspended and several players injured, Howe needs his remaining players to do more than their job. Anthony Gordon and Harvey Barnes will carry the attacking load, while Joelinton will be asked to win every battle in midfield. If Newcastle sit deep, stay organised and nick something on the counter, they have a chance. But they cannot afford a slow start.
Manchester City may rotate with Real Madrid coming next week, but Guardiola has enough quality in his squad to field two strong teams. Even a rotated City side creates problems.
