FIFA Club World Cup Squads: Cherki & Reijnders to City, Osimhen Rejects Al Hilal, Chelsea Eyes Mo Kudus

With the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup only about four days away depending on your time zone, most of the clubs are announcing their squads after making last minute signings just in time for these players to be registered for the tournament.

In this article, we take a look at the clubs that have already announced their squads and the major transfer business that the big clubs are doing ahead of the commencement of this anticipated global showpiece.

Cherki signing his contract at Man City

🔵Manchester City 🏙:

Transfers: Cherki & Reijnders arrive for CWC

Manchester City kicked off the summer with a statement: four deals done in time to meet FIFA’s June 1–10 window for new signings to be eligible to play in the Club World Cup.

Rayan Ait-Nouri and Rayan Cherki were both signed officially by Pep’s Man City, with the former joining from Wolves on a five-year deal for £32 million while the latter joined from Lyon on also on a five-year deal worth about £34 million.

Reijnders signing his contract at Man City

Shortly after, midfielder Tijjani Reijnders arrived from AC Milan in a ~€55 million transfer—Guardiola’s answer to refreshing the midfield. Before Cherki was made official, Chelsea’s 3rd choice GK, Marcus Bettinelli, was signed by City on a one-year deal and registered for the FIFA CWC.

All four signings pushed City’s spending past the £100 million mark this summer.  Guardiola on Man City's squad for the FIFA Club World Cup in 2025: 'Everyone will go. It's not just for one game. We're going with the whole squad...”

🔵Al‑Hilal 🇸🇦:

Transfer saga: Osimhen snubs Saudi riches; Club Turns to Liverpool’s Nunez & Kante

Ait-Nouri presented as new Man City player

Al‑Hilal stunned the market by offering Nigeria’s Victor Osimhen a mega package: €75 million transfer fee plus €30 million per year in salary. The forward, however, chose to decline the offer—an emphatic rejection.

With Osimhen off the table, Al Hilal targets Liverpool’s Darwin Nunez as new manager Simone Inzaghi prepares his team for their first CWC match against a certain Real Madrid.

They have also been reported to have asked about former Chelsea dynamo, Kante.

🔵Chelsea ⚽:

Transfer radar: Bid submitted for Dortmund’s Gittens; Mohammed Kudus Linked

Chelsea have reportedly submitted a second  bid, after the first was rejected, for Dortmund’s Jamie Bynoe-Gittens. While the Englishman has already been registered by Dortmund for the FIFA CWC, Chelsea hope to finalise a deal for the 20-year-old after the tournament in the USA.

2025 FIFA Club World Cup Title Tour

It is reported that Chelsea decided to go for Jamie after their main target, West Ham’s Ghanaian winger, Mohammed Kudus, was deemed too expensive by the club.

However, some sources say the Blues might could be plotting a high-profile move for Mo Kudus, after the FIFA CWC, with talks of a swap deal that could send Robert Sanchez to West Ham on the table.

They’ve also pursued Mike Maignan—offers were made, but clubs held firm. Kudus remains their most promising target.

🗣️Squad for Club World Cup Officially Announced:

Much like Real Madrid and Man City, Chelsea also announced their squad for the 2025 FIFA CWC tournament in the USA on Wednesday, June 11. Their 28-man squad as expected features new signings, Delap, Sarr, and Esugo while Joao Felix, Rahim Sterling and Disasi all were left out.

Trent presented as a Real Madrid player

Transfer moves: Argentine 17-year-old Wonder kid done but won’t join CWC

Real Madrid is yet to announce their official squad for the FIFA CWC in the USA, but they have been a very busy club in the transfer window, and two of their new signings, Huijsen and Alexander-Arnold, are expected to be a part of the squad for the CWC.

TAA's Real Madrid Announcement

Meanwhile, they have reportedly completed the signing of 17-year-old River Plate marvel, Franco Mastantuono, who was reportedly 90 per cent on his way to becoming a PSG player.

That said, Franco, much like their left-back target, Carreras, also reportedly done at least on personal terms, is not expected to join the club for the FIFA CWC, with the two players all being registered for the tournament by their current clubs.

Xabi Alonso (new manager) is apparently also pushing for more signings, with Real exploring attacking and midfield reinforcements.

🔴Bayern Munich

Bayern have officially confirmed a 29-player roster for the tournament, featuring Neuer, Kimmich, Musiala, Thomas Müller, Harry Kane, new signings Tah and Bischof, with some youth prospects.

Bayern's Official Squad Heading to 2025 FIFA CWC in USA

So far, the two signings are the only ones the Bavarian club have made with their long-time target, Florian Wirtz, choosing Liverpool over them, probably in loyalty to his boyhood club Bayer Leverkusen. Bayern are, however, expected to make moves in the market after the FIFA CWC.

🗣️Squad for Club World Cup Officially Announced:

The squad blends established internationals with emerging talents like Leon Klanac, Cassiano Kiala, and Lennart Karl, ready to challenge in the knockout stages.

⚫Juventus 🇮🇹:

Transfer focus: Internal strengthening

Juventus have opted for internal consolidation ahead of the tournament, building on the previous summer’s signings such as Douglas Luiz, Khéphren Thuram, Teun Koopmeiners, and mid-season arrivals like Filip Kostić and Daniele Rugani.

No new major additions are expected; instead, Juve looks to maximise their existing talent pipeline.

Jobe Bellingham presented as new Dortmund player

🟡Borussia Dortmund 🇩🇪:

Transfer headlines: Jobe Bellingham & Squad Release

Dortmund have been themselves in this transfer window, very quiet but with some movements. Jobe Bellingham—brother of Jude—signed from Sunderland for around €33 million and will compete in the tournament. That is the biggest of their moves.

Chelsea’s attempts to land teen winger Jamie Gittens were rebuffed; Gittens will represent Dortmund at the FIFA CWC and has been named as part of the travelling squad.

🔚Final Word:

Ahead of the US-based FIFA CWC (June 15–July 13, 2025), the financial arms race is undeniable. Manchester City reshuffled with Cherki and Reijnders, Bayern shored up defence, Real Madrid balanced stars and depth, and Dortmund welcomed Bellingham under a brotherly legacy.

These squads are now set to test their dollars on the pitch—and the outcomes will define whether heavy investment reaps the ultimate reward. You can check out the complete squads in the images attached.

Yamal, Rice, & Donnaruma In; Pedri, Sommer, & Guirassy Out: Analysis of UEFA TOTS & Best Player, Dembele & Best Young Player, Doue

Yamal, Rice, & Donnaruma In; Pedri, Sommer, & Guirassy Out: Analysis of UEFA TOTS & Best Player, Dembele & Best Young Player, Doue

A new UEFA Champions League winner was crowned last Saturday, with Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) securing their first-ever title in a historic 5-0 victory over Inter Milan.

As is customary at the end of every UCL season, the competition’s organiser, UEFA, led by its Technical Observatory Team, released its team of the season.

And well, let’s just say, UEFA's Team of the Season (TOTS) and individual awards have sparked discussions regarding player selections and omissions.

🏆 UEFA Team of the Season (Complete XI) - Argument For & Against:

Goalkeeper (GK):

🏅Gianluigi Donnarumma (PSG):

Donnarumma kept the goal for PSG in all their Champions League games, including the final, which, in honesty, was a holiday for the Italian. Donnarumma kept 6 clean sheets in 15 games, conceding 14 goals.

UEFA POTM Stats for the entire 24/25 Competition

🛡️ Defenders:

🏅Achraf Hakimi (PSG):

Hakimi's dynamic presence on the right flank was vital for PSG, contributing both defensively and offensively.

He scored in the quarterfinals and the opening goal in the final while consistently providing width and pace throughout the tournament for the French side.

In addition, he won the most possessions (110) and provided 5 assists, taking his total goal contributions to 9.

🏅Marquinhos (PSG):

As PSG's captain, Marquinhos led by example, organising the defence and contributing to the team's seven (7) clean sheets during the campaign while making the most clearances in the competition (92).

Some Stats Leaders from the 24/25 UEFA CL

🏅Alessandro Bastoni (Inter Milan):

Bastoni was a key figure in Inter's journey to the final, showcasing composure and strong defensive skills. Despite the heavy loss in the final, his performances throughout the tournament, especially the semi-finals against Barca, earned him a spot in the TOTS.

🏅Nuno Mendes (PSG):

Mendes provided balance on the left side of PSG's defence, combining defensive solidity with attacking support, contributing to the team's overall success.

The man with the most possession won (119) was most notable for keeping an in-form Mo Salah quiet for 2 legs.

⚙️ Midfielders:

UEFA's 24/26 Official TOTS

🏅Declan Rice (Arsenal):

Rice's commanding presence in midfield was pivotal for Arsenal's deep run in the competition. His ability to break up play and help out the attack stood out, even as Arsenal fell short in the semi-finals. Then of course, there are those two free-kick goals, you know which ones.

🏅Vitinha (PSG):

As the controller and orchestrator of the PSG team deep from midfield, the Portuguese midfielder caught the attention of the world in many of the French team’s games, including the final.

His 1,294 passes completed (the most in the competition) is not fluke as he took the role of a puppet master pulling the strings of his teammates and opponents too.

UEFA' 24/25 UCL Top Scorer's Table

🎯 Forwards:

🏅Ousmane Dembélé (PSG):

Dembélé was a constant threat on the wing, contributing eight (8) goals and six (6) assists in 15 matches. His pace and dribbling were instrumental in breaking down defences as he created the most chances (38).

🏅Lamine Yamal (Barcelona):

At only 17, Yamal was a very constant threat and a player Barca players looked to in the biggest games to do something special like maybe dribble his way into space to make or score a goal.

That this young lad completed the most dribbles in the UCL season (109), is very impressive.

UEFA CL POTS - Dembele

🏅Doue (PSG):

Aged only 19 at the time, PSG’s versatile winger, Doue, is another young lad who announced his arrival to the world on the biggest stage possible with his performances, especially the one in the final (2G 1 A).

❌ Notable Absences:

🏆Yan Sommer (Inter):

While he was on the losing side in the final, Sommer delivered several standout performances even in games he conceded 3 because without his saves, Inter could have conceded more and yes, I am talking about the semi-final tie against Barca.

Add that to the fact that he kept the most clean sheets (7), made the most saves (54, just one more than Courtois), and had the 3rd best save percentage in the competition, and you wonder what Donnarumma is doing in the post of the TOTS.

🏆Serhou Guirassy (Borussia Dortmund):

Guirassy was the joint top scorer in the tournament with 13 goals, yet did not make the TOTS, raising questions about the selection criteria if a Doue with  5 and a Dembele with 8 in many more games are included.

Pedri (Barcelona):

Barcelona fans especially and many others could not believe Declan Rice got the nod over Pedri in midfield in the TOTS line-up. Pedri came up 5th in both tackles made (37) and possession won (80) while being one of the controllers in Barca’s midfield alongside De Jong.

🥇 Individual Awards:

🏆UCL Player of the Season: Ousmane Dembélé (PSG)

Dembélé's electrifying performances were central to PSG's success. His ability to change games with his dribbling and finishing made him a force to reckon with, especially his game winners against Arsenal and Liverpool in the semi-finals and Round 16 stages, respectively.

🏆People’s Winner: Raphina

UEFA'S CL YPOTS - Doue

While Dembele’s heroics in the two knock-out games were pivotal, many, however, are of the view that the French winger, who filled the false 9 role occasionally, did not deserve to be named best player over Barcelona’s Raphina.

Why? Well, their agreement is, aside from chances created (not from open play only), Dembele was not the best at anything else. Not goals, not assists, not dribbles, nothing except, well, according to UEFA, runs into the penalty area.

Raphina, on the other hand, who with fewer games played than Dembele, equalled CR7's record of most goals plus assists (21) in a single UCL season.

Yamal - Barca

🏆UCL Best Young Player of the Season: Désiré Doué (PSG)

Doué's emergence as a key player for PSG was one of the season's highlights. His two goals and an assist in the final capped off a remarkable campaign, making him the youngest player to score a brace in a Champions League final.

🏆People’s Winner: Yamal

The people’s argument is this. Lamine, in fewer games, has the same number of goals and assists as Doue has (9), and as a tie breaker, has also completed the most dribbles in the UCL, so if anybody deserves to be named best young player, it should be the Barca lad.

📊 Conclusion:

The 2024/25 UEFA Champions League season showcased a blend of experienced stars and emerging talents. While the TOTS highlighted many deserving players, the omission of key performers like Sommer and Guirassy sparked debates among fans and analysts just as the POTS and YPOTS did.

As an able viewer of the UCL yourself, let us know what you think.

MSport Customers’ Top 3 Most Followed Weekend Booking Codes: EPL Final Day, La Liga Final Day, Coupe de France Final, Isak to Score, & Osimhen’s Gala All Feature

MSport Customers’ Top 3 Most Followed Weekend Booking Codes: EPL Final Day, La Liga Final Day, Coupe de France Final, Isak to Score, & Osimhen’s Gala All Feature

The European football season is coming to an end for all of the big guys, including the top five leagues like the EPL, La Liga, Italian Serie A, etc.

The final round of games or cup finals are scheduled for this weekend, and you know what that means. We’ve collated the top three most followed booking codes prepared by you, our customers, on our platform for you.

Liverpool & Spurs in action
  1. B3SZR98 – The Cup Finals

To kick us off, all pun intended, we have this very nice, convenient shop of a bet slip with its all-you-can-find-like nature of games from all your popular leagues to your not-so-popular ones and the most unique part, two cup finals.

Below are the games in this bet slip;

Fulham vs Man City – EPL.

Newcastle vs Everton – EPL.

Southampton vs Arsenal – EPL.

Tottenham vs Brighton – EPL.

Bilbao vs Barcelona – La Liga.

Club Brugge vs Royal Antwerp – Belgian League.

Goztepe Izmir vs Galatasaray – Turkish League.

PSG vs Reims – Coupe de France.

Benfica vs Sporting – Taca de Portugal.

Real Madrid vs Real Sociedad – La Liga.

Spurs players celebrating a goal

This bet slip would seem to have been carefully thought through by the customer who prepared it because while it could have been easy, and well lazy, to just pick the goals option throughout the bet, he did not.

While all nine of the 10 games in this slip are on the O/U (Overs) market, the Southampton vs Arsenal game saw the 1X2 (Away) straight win market option, suggesting that this slip was not done lazily.

PSG player, Dembele, celebrating a goal

Take the Portuguese Cup final, for instance, the customer opted for over 1.5 goals for that game, and if you know this fixture, you know over 1.5 goals is the least to expect.

For 19.01 odds, this bet slip for anyone who knows the ball will definitely be of interest.

  1. B3SXFKM – The Undertaker

This customer seems to have been a huge fan of the famous wrestler, Undertaker, because otherwise, how else do you explain this bet slip? That was just for laughs.

Real Madrid's Vini Jr in action

However, this 10-game-all-English bet is one that definitely has O/U (Under) as the main market option, however, that is not to say it is the only market option, as others like Double Chance, Handicap and for the first time ever in our Most Followed Booking Codes article, Anytime Goalscorer, also feature.

But before we go any further, let's first take a look at the 10 games in this slip;

Liverpool players celebrating a goal

Bournemouth vs Leicester – EPL.

Fulham vs Man City – EPL.

Ipswich vs West Ham – EPL.

Liverpool vs Crystal Palace – EPL.

Man United vs Aston Villa – EPL.

Newcastle vs Everton – EPL.

Nottingham Forest vs Chelsea – EPL.

Southampton vs Arsenal – EPL.

Tottenham vs Brighton – EPL.

Wolverhampton vs Brentford – EPL.

This customer clearly understands what will be at stake this weekend in the EPL for all the teams competing this weekend, and that very much reflects in his thinking and choice of market for these 10 EPL matches he selected.

Arsenal players in a team huddle

Take the Forest vs Chelsea game, for instance, with a spot in next season’s UEFA Champions League up for grabs in the final matchday for these two teams and a few others, one can expect both teams to approach these games as they would a cup final.

I don’t know about you, but I don’t know a lot of cup finals that see 5 goals or more, and so if that is the case, then an under 4.5 goals seems right on the money for this EPL game, and this customer knows it. 11.61 odds are not bad either.

Newcastle player, Isak, celebrating a goal
  1. B2UXVNB – Goooooolaaaaaazoooooooo

Finally, this 6-game bet slip of five EPL games and one Spanish La Liga game, with only one market option, and you know which one by now, is the last of our article.

Strangely, however, it is also the one with the biggest odds of all the booking codes discussed in this article, with 91.83 odds. For six games, that seems like the biggest bargain ever.

Barca players celebrating a goal

But before we talk more about it, the six games are;

Fulham vs Man City – EPL.

Liverpool vs Crystal Palace – EPL.

Newcastle vs Everton – EPL.

Forest vs Chelsea – EPL.

Southampton vs Arsenal – EPL.

Bilbao vs Barcelona – La Liga.

Man United player, Amad, celebrating a goal

That this customer chose only over 3.5 goals throughout for this bet slip is alarming at first glance but when one takes their time to check out each game one after the other and seems teams like Barca, Arsenal, Man City, Liverpool, then you start to see, he wasn’t that crazy after all.

Each of these teams is more than capable of scoring plenty of goals. Most of them, if not all, are synonymous with goals. No long talk.

That’s it for this weekend’s top-most followed booking codes on MSport. Hope you enjoyed them and good luck.

10 Minutes Draws, Blues & Newcastle Battle for UCL, Champs Liverpool’s Arsenal Date, & El Clasico Feature in This Weekend’s Top Booking Codes

10 Minutes Draws, Blues & Newcastle Battle for UCL, Champs Liverpool’s Arsenal Date, & El Clasico Feature in This Weekend’s Top Booking Codes

Football lovers, a huge weekend is upon us, with huge titanic clashes happening all around in our favourite leagues like the English Premier League and Spanish La Liga.

In the EPL, the top two teams, Liverpool and Arsenal, will be going head-to-head one last time before the season ends, and in Spain, it’s the biggest game in the world, the EL Clásico.

Image from last El Clasico

As part of our latest content, we have compiled and analysed the top three (3) most followed booking codes on our platform, prepared by you, our customers, on this weekend’s games for your pleasure.

This is the very first MSport Most Followed Booking Codes for the Weekend, and without wasting any more time, we will delve into the codes one after the other, starting with…

Booking Code 1

1️⃣B2JZ835 - 4 Odds, 8 Games: Quadruple!!!1️⃣

Our first booking code is an eight-game slip of matches from the English Premier League and the Italian Serie A. The matches are;

Liverpool vs Arsenal - EPL

Tottenham vs Crystal Palace - EPL

Newcastle vs Chelsea - EPL

Bournemouth vs Aston Villa - EPL

Wolves vs Brighton -EPL

AC Milan vs Bologna - EPL

Lazio vs Juventus – EPL

Empoli vs Parma – EPL

Image from the last Newcaslte vs Chelsea Clash

The most interesting thing about this slip is the market option the customer chose, a 10 minutes draw. For all the eight matches, this customer decided to go with the 10 minutes draw option.

Seeing as the various leagues are coming to an end and clubs are fighting to either avoid relegation or get themselves into European football qualification spots, one can understand this customer’s choice of choosing a 10 minute draw for all the games.

Image from last Liverpool vs Arsenal Clash

Clubs will be going into their remaining games like they were cup finals, playing with all seriousness and organisation to try and end the season in a better position, and that could easily translate into games remaining goalless after the first 10 minutes.

Take the biggest game in this bet slip, for example. While Liverpool have already been crowned champions of the EPL, they will not come into this Arsenal game willing to give up all 3 points.

Booking Code 2

Liverpool, aside from playing for the pride of their fans, will also be looking to end the season like the champions they are, while Arsenal would also like to give their very sad fans something to smile about given their recent elimination from the UEFA Champions League after losing out on the league to the Merseyside club.

Also, the last time the two sides met in the league, the game ended in a 2-2 draw. Good omen? So if you fancy a 3.98, which would reach 4.00 odds with bonuses, then check out this booking code.

2️⃣B3PB718 – 645.04 Odds, 10 Games: No Dulling!!!2️⃣

This next booking code has just two more games than the first booking code, but that is not the only different thing about them. The market option for this booking code is also different.

While the first booking code had the 10-minute draw market, this one has the straight win market option throughout, which perhaps is the only thing the two slips have in common.

Arsenal Players Celebrating Goal

Well, that and the leagues the games are on, because this slip also has games from the EPL, Serie A, but also the Spanish La Liga, and the French Ligue 1. Below are the games of this slip;

Lazio vs Juventus – Serie A

AC Milan vs Bologna – Serie A

Torino vs Inter Milano – Serie A

Atletico Madrid vs Real Sociedad – La Liga

Barcelona vs Real Madrid – La Liga

Fulham vs Everton – EPL

Southampton vs Man City – EPL

Man United vs West Ham – EPL

Montpellier vs PSG – Ligue 1

Monaco vs Lyon – Ligue 1

Barca Players Celebrating Goal

The customer who prepared this bet slip clearly has very big dreams and ambition. However, it does not seem to be clouding his judgement as all his choices in this slip are very logical ones.

For example, take the biggest game in there, the El Clásico. At first glance, one can be forgiven for thinking this guy is crazy for choosing Real Madrid to win this game after they have been beaten in all their last three (3) meetings against the Spanish league leaders.

Chelsea Players Celebrating Goal

However, statistics tell us that Real Madrid has a very strong record against Barcelona away at Barca’s home.

Also, if I were a Real Madrid team beaten mercilessly by my greatest rival in all three of our meetings this season, including two cup finals, I would be going into this game thinking my only option was to win, if not for revenge then to try to close the 4-point gap in the league, hope that Barca draws one of their remaining games and I win all of mine and lift the Spanish La Liga.

Booking Code 3

This level of deep analysis could be seen for all the other games, while some games like the Inter Milan and Man City ones, the two teams seem to be outright favourites to win their games, just like our customer has chosen.

3️⃣B2JU8AX – 5.19 Odds, 12 Games: Goal Lovers!!!3️⃣

Finally, and of course, we reserved the best for last, our last booking code is a goal-related one, but not in the way you think. Well, in the way you think, but no, it’s not only over or under, no. It’s both.

Yes, this customer, much like the others, also decided to stick to the EPL and La Liga only for this bet slip. So all the 12 games in this slip are from the top two most-watched leagues in the world. Check out the games below;

Anfield

Southampton vs Man City – EPL

Newcastle vs Chelsea - EPL

Man United vs West Ham – EPL

Liverpool vs Arsenal - EPL

Las Palmas vs Vallecano – La Liga

Celta Vigo vs Sevilla – La Liga

Girona vs Villareal – La Liga

Atletico Madrid vs Real Sociedad – La Liga

Leganes vs Espanyol – La Liga

Bilbao vs CD Alaves – La Liga

Valencia vs Getafe – La Liga

Real Betis vs Osasuna – La Liga

This customer certainly does not like losing, because I mean over 0.5, under 5.5, 1.08 odds, and 1.10 odds? Then there is the analysis of which games and which league see a lot of goals and which don’t.

Estadi Companys

For instance, Spanish league games generally are not high-scoring games, while EPL games are, and this customer knows that, so most of the Spanish league games he went under while he chose over for most of the EPL games.

Take Newcastle vs Chelsea for instance, our customer chose over 1.5 for this game, and given that all the last five games between the two sides have seen at least 2 goals, I would say that seems like a very logical choice.

Liverpool Players Celebrate EPL Title

That is all we have for you this week on MSport Customer’s Most Followed Booking Codes. Looking forward to the weekend’s games and good luck.
