With the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup only about four days away depending on your time zone, most of the clubs are announcing their squads after making last minute signings just in time for these players to be registered for the tournament.

Manchester City kicked off the summer with a statement: four deals done in time to meet FIFAâs JuneâŻ1â10 window for new signings to be eligible to play in the Club World Cup.
RayanâŻAit-Nouri and Rayan Cherki were both signed officially by Pepâs Man City, with the former joining from Wolves on a five-year deal for ÂŁ32 million while the latter joined from Lyon on also on a five-year deal worth about ÂŁ34âŻmillion.
Shortly after, midfielder TijjaniâŻReijnders arrived from AC Milan in a ~âŹ55âŻmillion transferâGuardiolaâs answer to refreshing the midfield. Before Cherki was made official, Chelseaâs 3rd choice GK, Marcus Bettinelli, was signed by City on a one-year deal and registered for the FIFA CWC.

Manchester City officially announced a 27-man squad for the 2025 FIFA CWC tournament in the USA on Wednesday, June 11. The squad as expected features all their four signings and many of the guys from last season with the exception of one player, Kevin DeBruyne.

Chelsea have reportedly submitted a second bid, after the first was rejected, for Dortmundâs Jamie Bynoe-Gittens. While the Englishman has already been registered by Dortmund for the FIFA CWC, Chelsea hope to finalise a deal for the 20-year-old after the tournament in the USA.
It is reported that Chelsea decided to go for Jamie after their main target, West Hamâs Ghanaian winger, Mohammed Kudus, was deemed too expensive by the club.
However, some sources say the Blues might could be plotting a high-profile move for Mo Kudus, after the FIFA CWC, with talks of a swap deal that could send RobertâŻSanchez to West Ham on the table.
Theyâve also pursued MikeâŻMaignanâoffers were made, but clubs held firm. Kudus remains their most promising target.

Much like Real Madrid and Man City, Chelsea also announced their squad for the 2025 FIFA CWC tournament in the USA on Wednesday, June 11. Their 28-man squad as expected features new signings, Delap, Sarr, and Esugo while Joao Felix, Rahim Sterling and Disasi all were left out.

Transfer moves: Argentine 17-year-old Wonder kid done but wonât join CWC
Real Madrid is yet to announce their official squad for the FIFA CWC in the USA, but they have been a very busy club in the transfer window, and two of their new signings, Huijsen and Alexander-Arnold, are expected to be a part of the squad for the CWC.
Meanwhile, they have reportedly completed the signing of 17-year-old River Plate marvel, Franco Mastantuono, who was reportedly 90 per cent on his way to becoming a PSG player.
That said, Franco, much like their left-back target, Carreras, also reportedly done at least on personal terms, is not expected to join the club for the FIFA CWC, with the two players all being registered for the tournament by their current clubs.
Xabi Alonso (new manager) is apparently also pushing for more signings, with Real exploring attacking and midfield reinforcements.

Bayern have officially confirmed a 29-player roster for the tournament, featuring Neuer, Kimmich, Musiala, ThomasâŻMĂŒller, HarryâŻKane, new signings Tah and Bischof, with some youth prospects.
So far, the two signings are the only ones the Bavarian club have made with their long-time target, Florian Wirtz, choosing Liverpool over them, probably in loyalty to his boyhood club Bayer Leverkusen. Bayern are, however, expected to make moves in the market after the FIFA CWC.
